What the difference between using the emailing game cam and your buddy texting you where he is seeing a bird on his way to work? Or hearing a bird and pulling up a satilite map on your phone to and pin pointing his position. I use regular game cameras and feel I'm a ethical hunter, most of us use technology advancements  to make ourselves more sucessful. It's up to the individual where they draw the line. If legal, go for it.

Ninja...I agree it's up to the individual which means we all have an opinion.   That was my point here as I added in my first post that it was my opinion my view...and to each there own and if it's legal and u want to do it have at it!   It's called having a discussion as this is a discussion board.   I agree with u on some use of technology trail cams, area maps etc but I did not agree with the live instant notification I believe it gives an unfair advantage.   I gather u probably don't see it that way and I'm 100% ok with that and enjoy reading your opinion and the dialogue! People are much to quick to get mad if someone goes against there thoughts or opinions...that's not the way to have discussions.  You can have discussions civilly and respectfully as I have.  There is many great guys on her that have very strong opinions on many different subject as with a blind or decoy thread and I enjoy reading and seeing everyone's opinion...agreeing or disagreeing.   God bless

Just my opinion but I'm not at all for it!    Turkey hunting is way more than killing!  It's the challenge, the game you win some and loose a lot.... and taking steps like this to me makes it all about killing!   If it ever comes to this for me I'll just buy a butter ball!   The time in the spring woods is about the experience, the battle, the gobble, the sounds of spring, and the time with family and friends!   If time is spent pre-scouting and doing ur preseason homework why would u even need to do this.  To me there is not much difference in batting then this.   If it's legal and u want to do it have at it but to me it's taking an unfair advantage.   I want to tag a long beard do to my skill and woodsman ship!

God bless

It's all good! I have to admit if I had live update cameras while in the woods, I'd probably bump more birds running from spot to spot than hunting spot to spot.

Augasman...this is the last I'll respond to this since it's not going anywhere and that's fine also.   Buddy it's an opinion....it's my opinion and that's what makes us all different.   We should be able to discuss topics etc whether we agree or not and if ur offended by that...well ur going to be offended a lot in life!  That is the problem in this country now none of our elected officals in power want to discuss anything especially our  president instead they want to shove it down our throats with terrible laws, bills and executive orders...... because they don't want to hear anyone else's opinion or there view.  They think there views and opinions is the only ones out there!    Do as u please I would suggest just make sure it's legal and enjoy your spring season.   However it's not for me and I believe it leans to an unfair advantage!!  Safe hunting and God bless!!

For the record, I just bought one. I'll be trying it this season. Anybody who wants info on them, I'd be glad to give it. I promise not to cast judgement.

Keep us updated as to how it all works. Everyone on the forum has opinions about how they feel about using different types equipment etc.. But i can bet you NO one on this forum will takes a horse and buggy to go turkey hunting. Most will drive a real nice truck, SUV, car or a 4 wheeler to go turkey hunting...Augasman all you did was ask what people new about these type trail camera..

Driving a vehicle is much different then the topic and actually I see no baring on the subject ...apples and oranges!  But we do all have an opinion and for the record I'll be driving a truck to my spots this yr...don't have a place to keep a horse! God bless

Well Va Birdhunter i can see why you have a problem with understanding my post..it's all has to do with how equipment thru the years has changed and i'm so glad you will be taking a truck to your hunting spot..Years ago with didn't have these nice trucks with air-condition and trail camera etc..so it's all about how time and equipment has changed to made it a lot easier for people hunting . And yes i agree everyone has opinions..i didn't see were your post was baring on the subject of trail cameras...as you said apples...to oranges....

Haha....well thanks u for the clarification and lots of things have changed through out the yrs some good many bad!   I also understand not having a nice vehicle for many yrs I had to use a 3 cylinder car for work and play.  Something being easier and what I for see as an unfair advantage is world apart. Figure if try that instead of apple and oranges!!  I do appreciate and respect ur view and opinion buddy...and I do sincerly mean that!   God bless
