Deep Cleaning Barrel Question

In Clarksville instruction he suggests a cylinder or improved choke during the process.   I only have a modified choke handy...will this be a problem using a modified choke during deep clean on new barrel?

IT should not been a problem, just mark your rod depth so you not going fully into the choke, or at least that's what I do. You don't need to go all the way into the choke and exit the bore, just barely into the choke. Basically the choke is to protect the threads that's all, it would be ideal to have a cyl bore choke but not necessarily.

All correct. The more open the choke, the less damage to your brass/bronze brush. Even a full choke will work. You just don't want to use your turkey choke because it's normally pretty tight and makes it hard to push/pull the brush.
