Grabbed my seldom used BPS 10 out of the gun safe recently to get it ready for goose hunting and found the Duratouch MOBU cam stock and forend have deteriorated to the point I will likely have to wrap them in camo tape to use the gun. (became very soft and sticky) This gun is mostly a safe queen , have hunted turkeys with it twice and both time harvested a fine tom.

I've seen older threads on OG  and other places abouth this so it's a very common problem.

My gun was bought new about 4 years ago but it was "New Old Stock" when I purchased it, I think it's a 2003 model with Mossy Oak Break Up Camo.  I will call Browning but I have already read online they don't have any more MOBU stocks, so if they do replace they will be another version of Mossy Oak Camo, doesn't help the guns value to have mismatched stocks.

Will be my last Browning with Duratouch stock, that's for sure.

I had the same gun except with MODB camo pattern and I ran into the same problems that you are having.  I ended up wrapping it but, like you said it was/will be the last dura touch gun I own.

Call Brownings customer service. They will replace with available stocked inventory, but what they have may not match your camo pattern. I replaced my bps 12 Ga MOBU stocks with the infinite camo last year. Not a perfect match but better to me than the black stock.

Browning will replace it but be prepared for a wait.  I ordered my stock last June and am still waiting for it.  I called and they said it will be shipped in Feb/March.  I plan on taking the old one and stripping it clean to see what it looks like and then maybe refinishing it some how.

My Silver's DT finish started wearing off after 3 weeks of use as a waterfowl gun...

Browning's CS told me to pound sand...

Gun works fine...looks awful...
