Sight in my Nikon scope?
March 28, 2011, 09:29:59 PM
Ive got the Nikon 1.5x 4 with the diamond reticle. When setting the scope Im going to first shoot it at 10 and 20 yds with light loads to get it lined up. Should I set it high for 40 yds or just shoot it on out to 40 yds with light loads to get it on?
thanks

I did like you've done but my next shot was at 30 yards with my turkey load. Then if all was well I shot at 40 yards.
If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!

Good deal....its just hard to get a good hold on the target to make a steady even shot with that diamond...thinking about trying the bead again.
thanks

I used a set of shooting sticks to sight my scope in. I did not see much difference from 15 to 35 yards or so and checked at 40 with a turkey load.
IF TURKEYS COULD SMELL WE WOULD NEVER KILL ONE!
