Look at Parkers line of bows too. Ive owned several, and they have all been stellar performers. Great value for the money, not as pricey, great warranty and great customer service. They wont break the bank.

I would see of you couldn't find a "new" previous year bow. For instance, the 15's are out. See if you couldn't find a 14 or even a 13 that's still hanging on a hook waiting for a new home. I would try to shoot the hoyt charger, even try the ignite (not quite the features but for 300 it ain't bad) and I would look at a few missions and diamonds. Just find one you like

I have a 2010 Hoyt Katera and love it, but two weeks ago I shot a Bowtech and an Obsession Fusion 6. trying to sell body parts now for that Obsession

I went back and shot the Hoyt Charger some more. I came home with it a few minutes ago. My search has ended. Now I just need to put a pile of arrows through in the next couple of weeks. I got a new release, bow with full package, and tax for $650. I think I did good.
Thanks to all for your inputs and suggestions.

Hoyt makes a solid bow. Congrats on the new addition.
