Lakota Quiver

I under took making my own quiver when I hunt. I didn't like the one that attaches to my bow. After a little research, I decided to go with the Lakota quiver. The style soft material for the body and stiffened by arrow shaft or a dowel rod. I didn't do any fringe or bead work , since this one I would be hunting with. This was my first attempt, next I'll do it in buckskin with fringe.

Those are great with good protection of feathers or hiding ones . I have 2 and the one made of elk is great for protecting wood arrows and feathers in wet weather. Perfect compliment for the longbow or for any bow . Very nice

Thanks. I broke four needles sewing up the bottom the quiver. I will need tougher needles next time

That looks good! I hunt with a recurve and I definitely do not like a quiver that is attached to the bow.
