My wife and I just got back from vacation. We went to Mission, TX, where my nephew is a Border Patrol. Spend a couple of days there. Left there and went to White Sands, NM. We spent a day there browsing around. Left from there and went to the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest in Arizona. Made our way to the Grand Canyon and from there to Las Vegas. You won't find any pictures from Las Vegas because as far as I'm concerned, the Grand Canyon could go ahead and swallow America's whorehouse up. My wife wanted to go because of all the spas they have there. We then started the l..o..n..g journey back to Georgia.

Looks like a really nice road trip with some cool pics.

but the important thing is did you find any road kill turkey hens for their wing bones?

Don't know Richard. That seemed to be the only thing Kat could spot. Elk and mule deer, she couldn't see!!! 
All those dream catchers kinda gave me the heebie-jeebies though. We took to an elk trail up on a ridge and there they were! Must have been 40 or 50 in that tree. There was a fire ring about 15 feet from the tree. Made me feel like I was invading someone's spiritual territory. Probably just some joker up there with a peace pipe loaded with who knows what! Put about 5300 miles on the Highlander!!!
