Couple of Pa birds
May 13, 2015, 05:19:35 AM
I've been out three days so far this year and could have killed a longbeard each day. Killed one on the first Tuesday and called one in for my Dad on his birthday. Both birds had 1.25" Spurs and heavy ropes.
I think my boy is addicted to big beards and spurs at 9 months old

Great job, and nice pics.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Very nice! The little certainly looks like a turkey hunter. I have gotten skunked in PA the last 4 yrs. Thanks for sharing!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.
