Well, the rain finally left and we had a good gobbling morning today. Went to a new farm and got in close to some roosted toms that were across a creek on another property. Had some hens roosted on my side and they all flew down opposite of each other. Those gobblers were all tore up wanting over on my side, but they wouldnt come.
They finally got so frustrated they broke and went to the only spot they could cross and I was there waiting. Great hunt, got to hear them gobble 200 times. Standard 2 yr old. 10" beard, about 18 lbs, one broken spur, one about 1". We have had a blast this trip. KY is cursed no more.....
