Glass,crystal and aluminum question

Do you prefer  these surfaces blasted when making calls?

Glass and crystal no. I use amour etch on my glass. aluminum yes.

Not a fan of blasted glass ,,, the aluminum I use blasted but like to sand one side for plain gives the call a little more versatility
