Question on Multiple Beards

I like to display my beards in a rack. For those of you that have shot birds with multiple beards, how do you display them without seperating them? Dry the skin? I have no clue.

Take off as much meat and fat as you can scrapping and coat all the skin with Borax for a day then brush it off and do a few complete salt coverings until the salt removes all the moisture and no longer gets crusty from contact.
There are probably more scientific ways but this always works well for me.

Looks great Treerooster. I let a 10 beard dry naturally and put it in a shadow box pinning the beards out to seperate them out.
