Had good gobbling Saturday,Sunday and Monday in Wilson and Smith co.now today very quite. Did call three up Saturday for the wife

 I'm in west tn an it same way here    Where I am anyway.  I heard more gobbling before juvenile than I have since season started.  And I know it not from all the birds gettin killed.... Weirdeat yr I've seen in my turkey huntin career lol

im in sumner county tn and my birds here are quiet as can be now i have a farm in macon but have yet to get to go over there they may be fired up there

Nothin like a hot bird that's for sure.  if you know they're in there, id wait them out and give em' some calls they've just got to come in and check out.  I'd probably use a gobble call in that situation and see what happens.



This bird too was quite on the roost...but we were in an active area and he eventually woke up to some aggressive box cutting.  Same last week in NC..Lull I think.. or dramitc wind change.
