I am currently patterned with the LongBeard #6 3". I also have a full box of LongBeard #5 3". Should I expect a different POI between the two or is it going to be the same since they are both the same brand/shell length, just different shot?

Best advise is to never ask. You gotta pattern each load n see what's best density wise, poi, etc

TauntoHawk

Just shoot one of the 5s and see how it does.

Yuh huh !!

Just got done messing around with some 4's and 5's.

113 #4's in the 10" at 50 yards.  66 #4's and 86 #5's in the 10" at 60 yards.

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

Choot 'em and see. I have gotten a bruised shoulder and burned several dollars worth of ammo over the last week as well as spent  $100 dollars on used tubes to see what my rig will do. Only way to find out is burn some powder, don't speculate. More time at the pattern board =more turkey.

I got 96 in a 10" circle at 60 yards with the #6. I like the numbers in case I misjudge the distance, but am also worried that it won't kill past 40 if I misjudge the distance.
