Which, in your opinion, are the best trumpets for clucking? I'm in the market for an all-weather model, but I can't decide which way to go. If anyone knows of a recording of someone doing some good, sharp clucks and cutts on a Farmer/slant style mouth piece I'd really appreciate a heads-up. Thanks!

Got any tips on how to cluck on one of those? I picked up a diaphragm-like yelp pretty quick, but could not cluck to suit at all.

How far down are you running the lipstop??
Play with that a little bit.

Mike Battey makes an all acrylic trumpet...wildtalker.

Battey said he's not having any more trumpets made due to costs at the CNC shops. Hope that changes!

I'm thinking about a Permar Classic or .45 at the moment.

I think Matt McLain may have done an acrylic one or two. Might give him a shout too!

John Dangerfield build a mouthpiece you are lookin for. Matt's acrylic trumpet and hard to beat. He proved that a couple years ago in Nashville.

Don't let that funky mouthpiece intimidate ya. It's still just a trumpet, no matter who made it!
