I went out today just to let a box turtle free on the back side of base and as I rounded a corner there was a big old long beard strutting in the street, this is today May 25th. He went off in the bushes before I could get a picture but I got him to shock gobble a few times with the car horn. I will try and post up a video, I am impressed he was still running around strutting this late.  Especially since its been all quite here on base for the last few weeks. He had a big beard on him too, he was definately not a jake or young one.
