I recently purchased a custom mouth call and I am having a problem with it. When it does what it is supposed to, it sounds great but it squeaks a ton. I have never had this problem with a mouth call. You can be in the middle of a sequence and the yelps get a super high front end and if you cluck it just comes out as a squeak. Sometimes pulling the call out and manually separating the reeds works...sometimes not. I guess I should mention it will not squeak at all if you call very loud, yelps and clucks both clear.
Any advice on how to fix this, or what might be causing it?
