Guess I'll be another odd man out on this one. I'm hard on boots, regardless of price and manufacture. I buy a new pair of rubber boots every year for bow season and in lucky to get them to last. I prefer rubber boots because the areas we hunt usually lhas creeks to cross and it not doing that in leather when I know there's a good chance it'll be over the tops. Because I've yet to get even a good pair of boots to last any longer than the cheap ones, I buy a pair of itasca swamp walkers at TSC. They support my feet well and once bow season is over, they become my spring turkey boots. Probably not going to be the best choice for where you're headed though.
