Woodhaven Copperhead

I am down to my last one for this Spring and I haven't seen one in the stores that carry them for the past two years.  Am I just having bad luck or did they stop making them?--I sure hope not since that is my favorite call.  I have only seen them in a three pack with other calls.
Anyone have some insight on this?

It's one of my favorites as well.  I usually just order directly from them, either online or over the phone.

Thanks!.  I actually went to their website directly after posing the question--My brain works in reverse sometimes I guess.  The Woodhaven calls have been my go to calls for the past four years.
Before that it was the Preston Pittman Magnum Diamond.  I started out many years ago on Perfection and Quaker Boy Turkey Calls.  I would say there have probably been more birds killed with a Quaker Boy Old Boss Hen than any other mouth call on the market.

I use to use the old boss hen and a lot of other calls but then I discovered jim pollards elite calls. His original batwing 3 is the best mouth call that I have ever used. He use to make it for woodhaven. Then made calls for southland and now is on his on pollards elite calls.

Good luck with it being anything like the one's you have used before. It was my  go to call for a probably 3 seasons, then about 3 yrs ago I got one and it sounded horrible and the reeds were not lined up and cut like my former ones. I went to BPS later to try and find one. I looked through all they had(10 or so) and every one the reeds were cut different and you could tell they had been thrown together. I didn't like paying $10 for a call that had .20 cents of materials as it was, and I sure didn't like it when the quality went down.

Since then I stick with a small company that a turkey hunter makes each one to the exact specs, and I pay about $5 per call.

I have used Hooks as well and yes, they are great calls.  It's amazing how far mouth calls have evolved in the past 30 years.
