I have shot several multi bearded birds before with the bird having the most was 6 beards.

Numerous double beards

I have never killed a bird with more than 1 beard. Here in upstate ny they dont seem too common. My uncle who got me into turkey hunting and has killed a lot more than me has killed 1 double bearded bird but the main beard was broken off @ 3". I did kill a mature longbeard that didnt have any spurs. Looked like a hens leg.

I have shot two multiple beard turkeys. One bird had four beards and one bird had two beards. Both birds were taken in Georgia.

Ive not killed a multi beard, but when I was a kid I froze up on a turkey and dad shot it...  It had 7 separate beards.  I will ask him if he still has it maybe I can get a picture.

that was my first time experiencing an old tom running at me and I wasnt ready.  he got to about 10 yds and dad realized I wasnt gonna shoot so he took care of it.

Hooked ever since, I was 7 yrs old
