Guys,

Looking at a new call. Currently run a Halloran twisted sister, love it. Looking for a good slate to accompany it. Would like to purchase from Midwest supply, so let me know which of the three you like or another they offer that you'd pick over them. Thanks!

Lon makes a really good call!

Cane creek, bud-betty, buddy stang deluxe, tom teasers, ss custom...all these sound pretty good as well

Bowguy

Best slate I've ever seen is Schafers n he's not in Midwest. If you want a great call you oughta just get one. Unless you're obligated to Midwest or something

Thundermtn

Paul Platz, cherry slate, not on midwest. Or if you are going through midwest the Lonzo. I have a glass birdeye and it's really nice. I really want to hear his slate in a zebrawood pot.

gar

Lonzo or Halloran on Midwest, but honestly you should call Lonnie Sneed and get a Hot Hen.
Just an opinion:)

SS game over or Lonzo Birdseye maple

I would not count out hanks slate either. I don't think you'd be unhappy with halloran's, hanks, Lonzo or tom teaser.

Lonzo Birdseye maple or Halloran slate from Midwest out of all my slates the platz maple and the Halloran walnut are in my vest get the paduak striker it's a smoker in either of them or call me.fowler and get a Patagonian rosewood those 2 strikers are what I run on slate I ran the Lonzo slate for a long time but the Halloran replaced it for the time being

Full strut

i voted for the ambrosia maple slate. i own one and personally love the call. the presimmon striker they come with is also a keeper too.

I voted other because I am fond of a Cane Creek slate. It's hard to beat for the price. I also carry a Hooks slate which I am partial to, birds really like the Hooks at least for me.

Some good ones listed!!  I'd add Bill Lyman aka callmakerman and Mike aka mspaci!!
