Which DSD hen decoy to buy???

I can only afford one this season.  Upgrading from my old decoy.  I was thinking upright hen but there is also some others. If just one choice what would it be??? Thanks

Personally I would look at the Avian x Decoys. They are cheaper and look just as real in my opinion. DSD breeder pair is 259.00 and a Avian x breeder pair is 159.00 at Cabelas. If you buy one DSD hen decoy your paying 120.00, I would spend the extra 30.00 and get 2 avian x decoys. This rout you will have 2 very realistic decoys this season instead of just one DSD decoy and waiting for a year to pass, so you can buy the other DSD decoy. Thats my opinon.

I've got the DSD hens and the Breeder pair.  I cannot speak for the AvianX but I have been pleased with the DSD decoys.

That said I have had hens come whoop up on the upright and the feeder so it would be personal preference as to which one.

I agree with either the upright or feeder. Don't think you'll go wrong.

If just one, I like the dsd leading hen that cabelas sells . If you have a jake you can set it out without a stake for a breeder or stake it alone if you don't have the jake.

If the dsd leading hen is sold out then I would go with the upright as my next choice.

Check out the classified section. There's a pair of dsd decoys at a good price now. It was posted not too long ago. Better jump on it!

Upright DSD hen...

I like Avian X, and use the jake, but DSD are bulletproof, A-X are not...

If I could only get one I would go with the upright hen. To me it's the most versatile as it can be used as a submissive hen just don't use the stake. I would also try for the jake. The combo of the 2 will increase your success.

 Well I went with the upright hen.  I was lucky as this was the last dsd decoy cabelas had in stock at hazelwood location.  Can't wait to get out on the woods with it.  Good bye Walmart 15 dollar decoy.  Now I just need for my Lonnie sneed pot call to get delivered by the 22nd when I leave for 9 days of hunting!!!!
