Anyone shooting heavy weight 7s in a 835?  Ported barrel?

Tbrady835

Do they make a 3.5" heavyweight 7? I have heard they do but I have never seen one here in AL. Boy if they do and it's max load that would be a sh**load of pellets!!! Count me in I also googled it and couldn't come up with a positive answer thanks!

Tbrady835

Well I found my answer 3.5"  1 & 7/8 oz w/ flitecontrol wad, what choke is suggested for the flitecontrol wad? What are you running choke wise w/835 and flitecontrol?

DMP

I don't.  That's what I am trying to figure out.

I was told that the ported barrels and flite control wads don't get along.

With the big back bore of the 835/935 works well with the FC wad.  You should do fine with something around 675.

Thanks sumtoy, I was curious bc I have also heard that they work in a regular full choke but with the back bore of the 835/935 I didn't know if that made a difference or not  :toothy9:

They'll do just fine with ports in the barrels.

Thanks,

I have a .710 factory full, a .695 Undertaker, a .679 TG gobble stopper and a .676 Stardot that does great in my 835 with a ported 26" barrel
