that I woke up and had turkeys on my mind.  I think I have an earlier than normal case of turkey fever.  I've got Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma hunts in the works, and I might try to hit Nebraska, or Texas or maybe both.  This spring looks good.  I would love to get to Florida but that never seems to work out.  Anyway I have a major carer change, and I'll have all the time I need to hunt, and I'm going to try a new innovation and hunt some with a crossbow. I'm looking forward to filming some hunts and spending time with Dad, Zane and my hunting buddies.

All I need is some gas money and tags, and I got to find some good mouth calls.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Hope the gas prices stay low come Spring. It is my big expense after out of state tags, being I sleep in my SUV.

I know the feeling Gooserbat....turkeys have been on my mind since the last day of spring season this past spring! My addiction to turkey hunting gets worse every year but I love it!!  I've been watching turkey hunting DVDs since the last week of November....which wasn't a good idea!  But I was weak and couldn't hold off!   I can't wait for spring!!  I will be hitting SC, VA and WV this year.

God bless

You know its getting to be that time when the outdoor channels on cable start running spring turkey hunts.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
