My wife gets her 1st buck and I may be shopping for a new rifle

My wife shot her 1st buck (a 7 pt.) last evening in NE North Carolina. She made a really good shot and was cool as a cucumber through the whole thing. I was way more nervous about it than her.

The slightly bad news is that she has taken a real liking to my favorite deer rifle (Win Mod 70 featherweight in .270). I bought a .243 for her a few years ago, but she likes the .270 better. She has killed a doe and a buck with it now.

Looks like I may be shopping for a new rifle now.
