Does anyone here use the cabelas kickstand vest and how do you like it? How's the seat and does the metal frame get in the way when using as a normal vest (leaning against a tree)?

I have TT2 vest with kickstand....hunted with the kickstand attached one day and that was enough... Gun clanks on it while walking, couldn't seem to get it set correctly, uncomfortable agains the tree. Maybe I wasn't using it correctly but I don't care for it.... The vest on the other hand is top notch ... Wish it had a stadium style seat like the bass pro bucklick creek vest instead of the big blocky kickstand.... Just my .02.... I am sure some will say they like it

2much2loud-Thanks for the reply that's all I needed to know. Guess I'll keep looking.

I've used both of the kickstand vests (the Tat'r 2 and MORE). I've never had any trouble with my gun banging on the stand. When sitting against a tree I just pull the bottom of the stand out away from the base of the tree a few inches. The frame supports your back when leaning against a tree and it stops the tree from digging into your back/shoulder blades, especially if the tree is on the narrow side. The only time it gets in the way is if the tree has pronounced roots coming out at the base, especially if they are narrowly spaced. The stand comes off easily and if you buy the vest when it's on sale you can take the stand off if you want without feeling like you aren't using something you paid for.
