Sorry, I have been slow on getting it posted but I got a bird on the last day of the Missouri season last Sunday. It had been a pretty rough season for me before Sunday as the birds on the primary farm I had been hunting were never very interested. I tried out a new spot on Sunday with a buddy of mine that had a bird patterned pretty well and our plan worked just as we had hoped. The lone gobbler worked his way from about 300 yards into our setup. This was my second biggest bird-a three year old 25 1/2 lbs. ,10 inch beard, and 1 1/4 spurs. Being as it was the last day of the season, I was beyond excited! Unfortunately, I didn't have my scale with me and wanted to get the bird cleaned up so I didn't get any of the scoring pics.
