Removable Gun Paint?

I have heard tell that there is a product sold as a removable gun camo paint...  According to one source it is supposed to provide "some" protection from rust as well.

Looking to utilize my upland 20 ga. for turkeys next season, and I am not at all eager to get the gun dipped...  A removable paint would be a great option for turkey hunting, and some waterfowl applications as well...

If anyone has heard of such a product, or used one, please post up a link or any info...

I've never used any kind of removable paint. To me, if it needs painted, I'm getting it ceracoated. As for a removable finish, you might check into the no mar type camo tapes. I've used them several times to cover up stainless finished rimfires for turkey hunting. Although to be fair, I don't really think it's all that necessary. Before owning a shotgun I hunted turkeys with a stainless finished 22 magnum and shot birds well within shotgun range and never had it covered. In some areas, where birds see a lot of pressure, the glare may spook them but personally, if it's just blued steel and wood, I'd not worry about it.

Mossy oak graphics kit is easy to put on and take off. It looks great too. I use it on my A5 cause I don't want to dip it.

Removable paint= junk. Camo tape, vinyl graphics or no camo at all would be much better. I hunt with camo guns, just because they are but I believe the same turkeys would have died without it.

Another vote for the Mossy Oak graphics. Pretty easy to use. I put it on my 1187  Premier 20ga. & really like it.

The MO graphics looks pretty cool...  How well does it wear, and how easy is it to apply and to remove?

I've had it on the gun for a couple of years and it looks like it did when I put it on. With that said, the gun was only hunted with about 12 days the last 2 years. The rest of the time it was in the gun safe in a silicone sock.

As far as applying them, it was fairly easy. If you don't care how it looks, it can be done pretty fast. If you want it to look "dipped" it will take a couple of hours...more time consuming that difficult. 

If you want I can take a few pics of mine to let you see how it looks. It's not "dipped" perfect when you at it look close, but at arms length it looks real good. I spent about an hour on it.
