anybody got one and how does it sound ? i was looking at the flared version.

I have one since this spring.  Works good on all surfaces.  I had to sand the flared tip real good to get rid of the varnish.

I just received a straight tip one and I've run it on glass, slate and aluminum so far and it osunds good on all three!!  I would definitely recommend thus striker!!
