Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

I love harold fowler strikers. As far as wood type , hard to say because i constantly switch them out all the time.

Harold Fowler strikers are my favorite. I have a cherry one that is great on everything I play it on.

David Halloran makes a nice 4 pack of two piece strikers. Ebony, Purple Heart, hickory and dymond wood. Really nice for $20.
