Browning BPS set up?

Just patterned my 3.5 BPS w/ 24" barrel.  Best load was Hevi 13 3" 2oz. #7 w/ Hevi 13 choke at 40 yds..  229 in the 10" w/ 25 pellets in the vitals.  I am happy with that set up.

I plan on setting up a 3.5" 12ga camo Browning BPS that belonged to my father-in-law.  It is lighter than my 870 and would like to use it as a run and gun rig.  I have an 870 that shoots 3.5" #7 Hevi well and was thinking about using something different.  I am thinking the new Win Long Beard #6 or MagBlend.  What ammo would you try first and what aftermarket choke would you look into?  It has a Browning X-full turkey in it right now?  Would you polish the barrel of the Browning like you would a Rem 870?

Have you weighed them both?

I wouldn't polish the bore of either gun.

My BPS shoots very good with a Indian Creek .665 and 3 or 3 1/2 Longbeard #5's are patterning out of this world. Old Xtended Range pattern very well too if you can find any
