went to some public land yesterday morning while it was raining to watch a field.i was about to get out of the truck and walk over to an old barn when i seen three toms feeding in a field. two were running around chasing each other.
the biggest one just watched them when they got too close to him he would just go into strut. then they ran the other way. it was pretty entertaining first toms i've seen that close this year .
i know that place will be cover plumb up on the opener but maybe one or two will survive the first couple weeks

Yeah Dustin, it's going our way, now if we can just get birds close to home on our favorite hunting spots.

I've noticed that the turkeys are busting up now, seeing alot of birds now so that's a good sign.
