There are plenty of birds out there, but it dose get pressured but still a lot of birds taken from both each year.  Late in the season I would look more at Black Kettle, but hat's just my  :z-twocents:

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I've hunted that ground, it's a mad house out there the first couple weeks! There are some birds out there, but definitely a lot of pressure too! Good luck!

Tail Feathers

An outfitter we hunted with not far from there said the places get a lot of pressure in the early season and the birds head for private land after the first few days.
Obviously not all of them but take binos and plan on doing some driving to find the birds.
Good luck.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!
