Redhead 16" Side Zip Snake Boots

I've been looking for a pair of waterproof 16" boots for turkey hunting. Just tired of wet feet on some of these cold spring mornings. The Redhead Bone Dry boots were on sale for $99 (now $149) with free shipping, so I took the plunge. I've had them in the woods 3 times for a total of about 2.5 miles, mostly in the snow. They were comfortable right out of the box and very light, each boot weighing 2.12 lbs. The side zip makes for an easy on/off with the off being the easier of the two with no hands needed. The leather portion was lighter than I cared for, so I wiped a black leather dye on with a rag to darken it a bit. Came out just right. If the waterproof test goes well, this will be a good investment if I can get a couple seasons out of them.
