Hey guys, looking for ideas/suggestions on fixing the fan on my most recent bird.  As I was pulling him out of the back of my truck, 2 of his fan feathers got caught in my bed liner, and pulled out of the fan - ugh!!   :character0029:

I've saved 'em, and am pretty sure I know where they go in his fan.  It's drying right now, and fully fanned out.

Let me know what you suggest; I was thinking of getting one of those "kits" & trying to get them "wedged" back in, somehow...  I dunno...

Thx guys!

I've seen people pull all of the feathers out and drill a block to where you put them in like it is fanned out. Just an idea but it did look good for the ones I have seen!
Why shoot a 3.5"? Because they don't make a 4".

I often pull and scrape the flesh from all the feathers. I use duct tape and hot glue to hold them in place. I do it with both display mounts and for decoy fans. It takes a little time getting the secondary tail feathers in place but you cant tell the difference when done.

A little crazy glue in the same hole they came out of should fix the problem. Good luck,

Joe
