Hello I was wondering about how long will a battery last in a tru glo gobble stopper red dot scope and I was wondering how everyone likes these scopes, thanks

Love it!!  I have gotten 2 seasons out of the battery but I will change it this year just for piece of mind.  I also carry a spare in my vest....just in case.

I use a tru glo but not the gobbler stopper, used last season and changed battery last week but only because i left the dang thing on and drained the battery  >:(

My 5 year old tru glo has the original battery, but just to be safe, I'll put in a new one this week :toothy12:!

I am going on 5 years also. I only have two complaints about the scope and neither has to do with performance. They didn't honor a rebate that was valid and the lens covers fall off. I lost one before I taped the other on. Other than that I really like it and would highly recommend it!

The covers do fall off....mine from 3 1/2" turkey load recoil.  I found a strong adhesive double sided tape and put on the red dot scope, then installed covers....it has stayed on ever since.

I went 4 seasons before I changed my original battery.

The spare battery compartment is on the very top of the knob to adjust brightness , right on top of the battery that powers the sight.
