I sent my SX3 in to Winchester due to the gun shooting about a foot left at 40 yards. Two weeks after they received it I got the gun back with a new barrel. They said they shot the gun with the new barrel and it was dead on at 40 yards. Just wanted to give them a thumbs up for great service.
I see a lot of threads about guns not shooting "true to bead".

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands, love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper; his hands remember the rifle.

That's great to hear.

great service, glad to hear it.  I have never bought or had a turkey gun with a screw in choke that would shoot true too the bead.  Main pattern was always off.   I wanted my POA and POI right before I began to scrutinize a pattern.  I tried some aftermarket sights on one once, didn't like them.  Then I used a saddle to mount a scope, I couldn't take the saddle off to clean the action without worrying about POI being off when I reinstalled it. Made hunting in the rain aggravating, also it marred the finish of the gun, if you tightened the mount screws too tight the bolt wouldn't slide, didn't like that.  Now I just buy the guns drilled and tapped and scope them before I pattern them.  Makes life easier for me, I just dial the pattern in.  I just accept it, besides now I like a scope.

I own several shotguns from Franchi, Remington, Winchester and Benelli that needed their barrel straightened. It is a scary sight at first when you see the gun smith put the barrel in a vise and start bending it. The only gun I haven't had the need for this service was a beretta I once owned.

To the OP, please shoot the new barrel ASAP as you could have another poi issue. Sometimes it isn't the barrel, it can be the barrel ring that goes around the magazine tube not being square.

Kudos to Winchester, great to hear about companies that take care of their customers after the sale.            :z-winnersmiley:

Good point Shellwaster. I shot it today with a extended Kicks choke and it is dead on. I like shooting with just a front bead so I am glad it's shooting true to bead.
