Knoxx Gen II binding trigger

I put a new knoxx gen II on my older model 835 and when I snug the receiver adapter against the back of the receiver it binds the trigger housing and won't let the trigger come back forward.  Has anybody else had this problem?

Haven't heard of that one.  I do know that on an 835 the stock bolt will prevent the safety from working correctly if the bolt extends into the receiver too far.  You can use washers to correct that problem.  Could it be the bolt also causing your problem?

You could be right.  The new bolt appears to extend into the receive slightly farther than the factory bolt, and could very well be slightly fouling the mechanism for the trigger up to the saftey.  I will try a washer and see what happens and let you know.  Many thanks for the input!  Eric
