How do you brush your blinds in?

I have a pop up blind that I have put in between a stand of 3 big oak trees in a pasture and I have cut down several cedar tree limbs and small trees to brush it in.  I stacked them all around it.

I have seen pictures of guys brushing their blinds in much better by (it appears) attaching limbs and such to the top and sides of the blinds. My blind doesn't have anything to attached anything to it to brush it in, so my question: is it possible to brush it in better and is there a process you guys use to do this?

Thanks

waste of time... just set up a few days before.. and they will get used to it.  As long as it's not moving.. turkeys could care less ...

BlakeJ

Yeah you can even put it in the day of and it will be fine with no brush.

Ok great.  I even went and watched a youtube video and the "expert" explained the same thing.

I don't.  Turkeys don't shy away like deer.

I'm with renegade, never done it! Haven't had to....yet!

I don't and often times put them up the morning of without any issues.

Never really brushed one in other than setting one up under a cedar tree after cutting away a few branches.

Same here  :icon_thumright:. One suggestion keep the window mesh down behind you, lets you move around a bit.

One more for the no brush. Turkeys seem to care less.

Turkey's do not care. I brush over windows to minimize movement

Hooksfan

No brushing needed for turkeys as has been mentioned. Just keep in mind to keep opposite windows closed. I will only leave a couple windows open with good success. I stil hate hunting out of a blind and won't do it unless I am taking a kid or bowhunting.
