If federal is able to put 1 1/2 oz of heavyweight shot in a 20 ga 3 in shell, why can't the same be done with lead or has this been done by handloaders? I have a feeling that we coud have excellent patterns with packing the mighty yellows with a little more turkey whackers

Lead is lighter and takes more volume to = weight.

I think we need a 3-1/2" 20ga shell
