These things shoot tight. Been using the Winchester supreme 1 3/4 HV 6's.  They averaged 90 to 100 in a 10" circle at 40.  These are crazy high numbers.  Shot 7 times.  Lowest was 211 highest was 259.  Got 259 after cleaning a big ridge of resin out of the forcing cone.  Was surprised when I looked in the barrel and saw that.

259 after cleaning.

Two others were around 230.  These may be a little too tight for the woods I hunt in.  Most shots are usually 20 yards or less.  At 20 yards it's about a 4" cluster. May hunt with the 20ga shooting the HW 7's

Here's the Win Supreme HV 6's in the same gun and distance.

Fact is, any of those patterns will kill a turkey. William from SumToy says it best when he asks "how dead do you want them?"  :camohat:

I'm not suprised about the long beards because those are similar numbers to what I get with my 1300 and a stardot. However with HV's I get 90-100 with number 4's and that's what your doing with 6's. Have you deep cleaned your barrel.
