Got some pretty nice weather today so I decided to do a little pattern work. The Remington 870 Super Mag with the Rhino .660 choke and a 3 1/2" Nitro 2 7/16 oz of 4,5,7.5 threw a good pattern with 261 pellets in the 10" circle. That will be the load for that gun this season. The same gun and shell with the Remington Super Full choke put 191 in the 10" circle.

Nice Pattern, but I bet if you would have shot the H51013A you would have gotten two things better. #1 Less Recoil, and #2 you would have most likely put upwards of 300 in the 10" circle at 40 yds.
You are right Slicky very few guns will shoot the 2 7/16 oz. load well with the tight bores of the Remingtons they will kill turkeys all day long but the 2 1/4 oz. will put more shot in the 10. Even my 835s do not shoot the 2 7/16 oz loads very well but the 2 1/4 loads are hot.

Turkeys are as smart as hunters make em and public land offers more classes.
George Washington didn't use his freedom of speech to defeat the British, he shot them.
