Cold This Morning - Turkey Still on Roost at 8am

My dad and I had to make a trip this morning for work and on the way down at about 7:15, my dad saw a group of birds in the trees.  On the way back at about 8, we slowed down and sure enough they were still there.  About 30 of them were up in the trees still.  The sun was shining so they may have figured they were better off up there for a while longer.  It was about -2 degrees at the time.  I don't envy them at all on these cold days and then having to land in all that snow just to try and find food.
