Advice for new pot and peg
February 07, 2014, 06:40:01 PM
Need....hold on I should say really want a new friction call. I learned on a Cody Woodsman glass with a Primos cutting striker( I dont't use it just to cut). Really interested in aluminum but would like to hear from everyone else. Please help which striker, what surface, which wood? Too many options these days. Would love a configuration that I could run in wet weather.
Thank you for the help.

SS Custom Calls makes a GREAT anodized aluminum/Canarywood pot call that comes with a diamondwood striker. Runs very easy and has a WIDE range of volume and tone!!!

Or you can assemble your own with whatever you want. Brookside game calls and custom sawing both sell everything you will need with a good selection.
