Has any ever noticed if their 336 mount appeared to be bent once installed. I snugged everything down on my 835 and this is what it looks like. Appears to be bending around the rear screw.

When I had one on my 835 I did not notice it. I think you might not know your own strength! I am surprised that did not strip.

I really didn't put that much behind it. Just snugged it down. It's like the holes are drilled to far back.

Hmm. From what I remember mine was pretty sturdy in design. I wonder if there were any changes in the material? My 835 is drilled far back like that too. I just don't remember mine bending like that.

i have a weaver base on mine with a picatinny style on the sight it is straight. i see what you mean though that means your ff three is not going to be laying flat either .i would take the base off and straight edge the receiver .

I noticed that and put a small metal shim in the back. It has been on for 3 years now and has held zero.
