I'm down to 3 options. Anyone have any suggestions on these?

Bushnell TRS-25 Trophy 1x25 Red Dot Scope
TruGlo Gobble-Stopper 30MM Dual Color
BSA Illuminated 42mm Red Dot Sight 5 MOA

I have 2 Bushnell trophys. One has red & green settings other only red. I prefer the red only just don't like the green for numerous reasons.

I have the TRS 25 mounted on a Vinci, so far its holding up well. Also have a Truglo 30mm red dot on a H&R 12 single shot and it is still working good. We had a BSA red dot on the H&R, the recoil ate it up during a patterning session so I personally can't recommend those. Out of those 3, I would go with the Bushnell TRS 25.It is  small and light, mounts low on the receiver, and battery life has been very good. Windage and elevation adjustments were positive clicks, power adjustment knob is very stiff.I shoot with both eyes open so field of view is a non issue for me. Now the dot on mine isn't perfectly round, and the brightness settings above 4 or 5 starburst the dot a bit,but even in the brightest light I never had to go to that high of a setting.I got mine on sale at midway and it was $85 with free shipping.I think it is a good sight for it's price and would recommend it.

Thanks a lot for your input. I was leaning toward the Bushnell and you pretty much just sealed the deal. With the right mount, I shouldn't have any issue putting the TRS-25 on my Mossberg 835 right?

It will mount to any weaver base so you shouldn't have any problems.Just get the correct base for your 835 and it will go right on.I think you will be very happy with it. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!

I have a BSA mounted onto my AK47. I really like it. I bought it on sale for like $25. It's a good sight for the money.

Ok I appreciate it fellas. Just got me a TRS-25 with a weaver mount.

I have some good friends who love the Burris FF3 if you want to look at that kind of money. But I've heard good things about the Truglo as well. Looks like you have it narrowed down to some good choices it will just all go from personal preference. Go look at them all and play around with them and pick the one that best suits your style. Good luck.

I would stay away from the BSA and TruGlo red dots, especially BSA. Remember you get what you pay for when it comes to optics. I have an Aimpoint 9000SC on my Mossberg 835 and Benelli SBE 2. It's the best red dot scope I've come across.
