My wife and I made a decision to put our 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier down this morning and man this is tearing me up. I know he lived a great long life but he was constantly peeing in the house and I think he was getting alzheimers a little, I didn't know dogs could get it but I guess they can. Just had to tell someone and Old Gobbler is a great place. Scoot

I've had to do the same thing 3 times in the last 2 years with our pets. It's not easy. They bring so much to our lives. My Best to your family.

Scoot..
My deepest condolences to you and the family. I know how hard that is to do. They are with you through thick and thin. Their love is unconditional and unending. That being said, Scoot. They depend on us for food, shelter, health, love and well being. In good times and in bad. In the end, it is also up to us to know when to stop their suffering and allow them to rest, in peace and free of pain, until you meet again.
Your beloved Wishbone is with my beloved Springer, Hershey, and they are running through fields of green. Young again, free of pain, waiting for us to come to the party. Of this, I am sure.
The memories will last forever..
God Bless..
Mike

Scott,
So sorry to hear that. There is nothing worse than having to put down a beloved friend.
I had to do it 3 years ago with my beloved Zeus.
Know that you and your wife gave him a great life for 15 years, and in the end you gave him the greatest gift you could. You made the decision to set him free from his pain, and end his suffering.
You and your wife are in our prayers.

Sorry to hear this. Pets become a part of the family and they bring us companionship and pleasure.
It hurts to lose one that's been part of your life for so long.

I know your pain, and it sucks. But its a small price to pay when you think of those years of love, dedication, and faithfulness. You will treasure those memories the rest of your life, and count yourself among the lucky to have a special companion like you did.

A quality paddle caller will most run itself. It just needs someone to carry it around the woods.
