Pine Ridge or Rosebud?!?!?!?

My cousin has suggested Rosebud or Pine Ridge for me to come hunt and see.  He does not hunt can you please pm me or reply to pros and cons of each cost guides paper work cost etc etc etc gobble gobble bang.

I went to standing rock 2 years ago.  Hunted on our own, and had to spend 1 full day locating birds, but all 3 of us killed turkeys.  $100 for 2 turkeys and might even be able to get 2 more tags.  North and South Dakota.

I have called Rosebud and Pine Ridge and was told both require guides.  I went to Standing Rock and was on birds that first morning.  We cruised around and it took some time to find other birds.  I filled both my tags.  Standing Rock gives you a map and lets you go.  No guide is required.  Casino has hotel rooms with 'Hunters Specials'.  Hunted numerous times in Standing Rock and never had any real problems.

I have hunted pine ridge, twice.  True you have to have a guide.  4 of us all tagged out in two days.  Finding a RELIABLE guide is the hard part.  Our guide was always running off "buying shoes for his kids" or something......Danny

I've hunted Pine Ridge and have the name of a guide I could pass along. A buddy and I filled our 4 tags there in about 6 hours a couple years back. Lots of birds that's for sure.
