Weatherby SA 459 Turkey

Anyone set one of these up.  They look and shoulder awesome. Only drawback is that they only come in a 3" chamber.  Also looking at a stoeger m3500. Any info on these would be awesome. Thanks. Ryan

I have the SA08 20 ga with the pistol grip from the 459. I don't care for the 459. I run a sum toy 562-5 with fed 7s through it. I love it. You don't need anything bigger than 3 inch. This gun will kill em farther than you need to shoot them. I got it at the end of the season two season ago. Tagged out in less than 24 hours.

You do know the 459 is a 20 ga?

Actually the 459 comes in 12 and 20g models. I am interested in the 12.

They must have just started that. It used to only be  in 20.


There are several of us with the weatherbys. We like them.

YUP HE'S RIGHT , I WAS DOING A SEARCH FOR A 20ga. AND ALOT OF 12ga. CAME UP ..... ONLY IN A 3"
