Anyone had any of that turkey therapy that worked
read some about it here. For:
Too many in the 10
too many shells
Too many guns
too many chokes
Too many calls
too many blinds
Too many turkey vests
Anything? BACK SCRATCHER LOOKED INTERESTING.
ANYBODY?

My wife thinks I need turkey therapy.
But you are wrong on one point, you can't have too many guns.
I spend the off season studying up on turkeys and adding to my addiction...er turkey stuff.
I try on occasion to make turkey calls but have thusfar been terribly unsuccessful.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

Ive been in a tailspin on buying stuff for about 20 yrs. And Im one of those guys who has everything he has ever owned in mint condition. My father and brother get a good laugh when I break out a crap gimmick call that we bought years ago and I still have mine and they literally have thrown theres down the hill. My turkey camp is on the side of a hill so there is no level ground at all. Not steep just enough. So when they buy a call that they dont like down the hill it goes. Mine goes into the arsenal of calls and every few years Ill break them out as a joke.

Give in...There's no cure, just a fix now and then...
Tried to get out of the house yesterday and they had me trapped inside...A hen and longbeard decided to sun right outside my door and rather than scare them away, I stayed inside...Finally HAD to leave to fulfill an obligation...I know they did it on purpose...I know it!
I HATE TURKEYS!!!

I fall back on gluttony. Nothing like firing up the smoker!
Fishing is good, so is squirrel hunting, or prepping for bow season.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons. However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
