Another "I got a new 835 Ulti-Mag" thread

Well I traded my Ruger 10/22 and $50 and got a brand new in the box Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Grand Slam 20" vent rib in Real Tree HD Green. I thought it was a great deal, seein's how you can't buy a brick of .22 cal shells for less $100 around here. I guess I got a new project gun LOL.

Congratulations! Love mine.  Added a few upgrades to mine, scope, one piece mount, tactical safety, and pistol grip (getting it dipped to match the gun).  It is a killer and you will be pleased!



I highly suggest replacing the safety with a tactical safety, especially if you add a scope.

I saw a new 835 dipped in Obsession on gunbroker the other day, must say its got me tempted. But then again so does a bottomland 870 supermag lol

a brick of 22's when you can find them run around 65-80 dollars around here,so I would have traded too.

I do have another 835 Ulti-Mag in Mossy Oak and it's also set-up as a turkey gun. I have a Mueller Quick-shot on it. Thats why I jumped at the chance to get the new one. I really love these 835's, they are just plain flat out turkey killer's! Beside's this new one is in RealTree HD Green so what a better reason to get it right?
